Cyprus, document by document

Cyprus is printed twelve times, and two very long rolls leave it out

Twelve of the 38 territory clauses read for this index print Cyprus. Five of the seven longest documents in that set include the country and two of them leave it out, which is unusual for rolls of 95 entries and more.

Five long documents print it, and two pass over

The sweeping half of this reading is seven documents holding between ninety-five and one hundred and five entries, and Cyprus appears in five of them. Bitdreams, at ninety-five, and Slotum, at ninety-six, are the exceptions. Cyprus is one of twenty-seven markets outside the Bitdreams roll and one of twenty-six outside Slotum's, which makes the omission a scarcer event than the inclusion: in a document of that length, the exceptions are the short list.

Two omissions are thin evidence on their own, and they are worth noticing anyway, because most European markets in this index are swept up by all seven. Cyprus reaches its total of twelve with five of the sweeping rolls and seven documents that chose their entries.

The seven that chose

The selective half of the Cypriot roster runs from seven entries up to forty: BetPlays at seven, Bets.io at fourteen, Instant Casino at twenty, Wild Fortune at twenty-five, Rocketpot at twenty-six, BitStarz at thirty-seven and Winz.io at forty. Seven such documents is a strong showing for a market of this size, and it is the half of the roster that carries information. A firm writing seven territory names has made seven decisions, and one of the seven reads Cyprus.

Four of the twelve pages were read live and eight from archived captures, all on 26 August 2026.

The one overlap with the table on this page

What each operator publishes about itself: the company named on the licence, the permit number and where it was read, how many countries the operator excludes in its own terms, and when identity documents are demanded. The country count is the length of a list the operator published, not our estimate of where it will accept you. An empty cell means the document was not read — it is not a zero, and it is not a permission.

Bets.io is the single brand compared here whose roll prints Cyprus, and it does so among fourteen entries. Three more brands carry a roll on record — nine entries from Shuffle, two from Cloudbet, one from Stake — and the Cypriot name stays clear of all three. The eight remaining cells stayed empty through this pass, each waiting on a document that stayed closed; a clause in that state is filed as such and kept apart from every total on the site.

That leaves sixty-two brands in the wider library whose wording is still unseen. Twelve is what the opened documents said on one dated day.

Around the eastern Mediterranean

Greece reaches fourteen and Bulgaria thirteen, so Cyprus at twelve sits just under two neighbours it shares much of its roster with. Malta reaches nine by a route of its own, with the seven long documents passing over it entirely.

The comparison is worth making because the three totals are close while the rosters differ. BetPlays prints Cyprus and Bulgaria; CoinCasino prints Bulgaria and Malta; Wolf.bet prints Malta alone of the three. Counting alone flattens that, and the addresses restore it.

Company paper, and the separate question

Every figure here was lifted from an agreement a company drafted for its own customers, kept in step with its licensing and its payment stack, and revised whenever any of that shifts. One address above was served to Norwegian readers, one to German, two to Australian and one to Canadian, so a single brand can hold several editions of one clause.

Cypriot legislation sits with the institutions that write and apply it, and this page points there rather than summarising anything. The country index carries the full spread, and the standard applied here explains the rules behind these tables.

Questions people actually type

How many operators print Cyprus in their own restricted clause?
Twelve of the 38 clauses read on 26 August 2026. Twenty-six clauses were read through with Cyprus missing, and 62 brands in the hundred-name library keep a document that was never retrieved for this pass.
Which long documents leave Cyprus out?
Bitdreams, whose roll reaches 95 entries, and Slotum, whose roll reaches 96. Cyprus is one of the 27 markets outside the Bitdreams roll and one of the 26 outside Slotum's, while the other five documents of that length do print it.
Does any brand in the comparison table print Cyprus?
Bets.io does, among the fourteen entries of its published roll, read on 26 August 2026. Three further brands in the table have a roll on record — Shuffle at nine entries, Cloudbet at two, Stake at one — and Cyprus is outside all three.
What is the shortest roll that prints Cyprus?
BetPlays, with seven entries in total: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Ukraine, the United States, Singapore, Israel and Iraq. A roll that short spends every entry deliberately, which is why this site prints roll lengths beside the counts.
