Seven exclusion clauses name the Dominican Republic, and the shortest of the seven still writes ninety-five of the 122 markets in this index into a single paragraph. Thirty-one further clauses were read end to end with Santo Domingo unmentioned, and sixty-two more brands, from a library of a hundred, yielded a text that stayed closed.

A figure built entirely by breadth

Bitdreams runs to ninety-five entries, Oshi Casino to a hundred and five, and the other five fill the band between them. Seven firms that each rule out roughly nine tenths of the world will meet in almost any market someone picks off the map, so their arrival here carries little information about the Caribbean.

The revealing part is the group that stayed silent. Twenty-nine of the thirty-one silent documents stop at forty entries or fewer, and the two remaining ones carry a territorial paragraph empty of any market in this index. Wherever an operator sat down to write a deliberately small set of names, this one went unmentioned, and that consistency across twenty-nine separate drafting desks is a firmer observation than the seven.

The same seven, in twenty-three other places

Twenty-three markets carry these brands and only these brands, matching the Dominican Republic row for row. Seven of the twenty-three lie across Asia, six in Africa, six elsewhere in the Americas and four in Europe. Iceland is in the group, so are Nigeria and South Korea, along with Guatemala, Honduras, the Bahamas, Ecuador, Bolivia and Paraguay. The wording also ages: a schedule published in spring can describe an arrangement a bank replaced in summer.

Sixty-two brands yielded a text that stayed closed on the day. Addresses had changed, some pages served their terms only inside a signed-in session, and several stored captures came back corrupt. Those brands carry an unfilled cell further down this page, and an unfilled cell reports the state of the survey rather than the state of the business.
