Twelve clauses, and five drafted narrowly

Twelve exclusion clauses name Nicaragua, five of which sit inside documents that stop well short of a global sweep: fourteen entries at Bets.io, twenty-two at Metaspins, thirty-seven at BitStarz, thirty-eight apiece at CryptoLeo and Nine Casino. The short schedules travel as a group

Bets.io fits fourteen markets into its paragraph, and four of the fourteen lie in this region: Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and Jamaica. Metaspins spends four of its twenty-two the same way, on Panama, Nicaragua, Jamaica and Puerto Rico. Two firms working from separate offices, both trimming hard, and both landing on an overlapping handful of Caribbean-basin markets.

That coincidence is the substance of the twelve. Seven sweeps reach Nicaragua because they reach nearly everything; five narrow documents reach it after somebody sat down and chose a small set of names. The second group carries the information, and it points at a cluster of markets around the isthmus rather than at Nicaragua alone.

One roster, three continents

Exactly two further markets in the survey collect this roster of twelve and stop there. Jamaica sits eight hundred miles north-east across the water; Uganda sits on the Equator in East Africa. A set reproduced across the Atlantic in that fashion is describing the twelve desks where it was written.

Along the isthmus the totals scatter instead. El Salvador finishes on eight, Guatemala and Honduras on seven each, Costa Rica on eleven and Panama on thirteen. Six neighbours, six figures, one drafting habit behind most of the spread.

Twenty-six silent schedules, sixty-two shut ones

Twenty-six documents ran to their final line without a Nicaraguan entry, and the value of that observation is bounded. What a firm prints and what its cashier accepts are two systems moving at different speeds, and the printed one moves slowly. Behind the cashier stands a payment provider carrying a territorial policy of its own, agreed in contracts that sit between two companies and out of public view. Identity work, meanwhile, tends to arrive with a payout rather than with a new account.

The remaining sixty-two brands supplied a document this reading failed to open. The twelve paragraphs counted above were composed by commercial firms managing their own exposure. They get rewritten as licences, banking arrangements and marketing priorities shift, and the rewriting happens quietly, at whatever pace suits the company. A country can enter or leave one of these schedules between two Tuesdays, with the change announced nowhere.

Nicaraguan law belongs to a different order of document, produced by other people through a public process, and this survey quotes none of it. Both reach a reader as text on a screen, and one of the two was debated openly before it appeared. Holding that difference steady is the point of counting anything at all here.
