Tanzania, counted

Seven lists name Tanzania, five fewer than the market next door

Seven of the 38 barred-territory lists read for this index name Tanzania. Uganda, immediately to the north-west, collects twelve, and the five documents that separate them are narrow ones.

Seven, against twelve on the other side of the border

Seven barred-territory lists print a Tanzanian entry, all seven taken from archived copies dated 26 August 2026. Uganda finishes the same pass on twelve. Thirty-one readable lists were worked through with the Tanzanian entry missing, and sixty-two clauses in the hundred-name library were never retrieved at all.

The five documents that stop at the border

All seven lists above are sweeps. The shortest of them, from Bitdreams, reaches ninety-five of the 122 markets in this index; the longest, from Oshi Casino, reaches 105. Every entry Tanzania collects comes from a document of that size.

The five extra documents naming Uganda are the opposite kind of paperwork. Nine Casino and CryptoLeo stop at thirty-eight markets each, BitStarz at thirty-seven, Metaspins at twenty-two, and Bets.io at fourteen. A list of that length has been narrowed by somebody who was choosing, and five firms made the same choice about one side of a border while passing over the other.

Six further African markets finish level with Tanzania on seven, among them Nigeria, Egypt, Algeria, Cameroon and its 23 matching markets and Ghana, where seven is the commonest figure, which makes it the commonest total on the continent as well as the commonest across the whole index.

Around the rest of East and Southern Africa the figures fan out further. Kenya reaches eight, Zambia matches Tanzania at seven, and Zimbabwe holds sixteen, the highest figure anywhere on the continent. Four neighbouring markets, four different totals, drafted by companies who each worked to their own habits.

Where thirty-one silences stop

Thirty-one readable documents pass over Tanzania, and the finding is exactly as wide as that clause.

A brand whose roll omits the market may still close the door further along the chain. Banking partners hold accepted-territory rules of their own, kept inside private contracts that reach the public nowhere. Verification tends to arrive later than a deposit does, at the point where a payout is asked for. And the captures here fix one day in August, while the texts themselves are rewritten whenever a firm chooses.

Sixty-two clauses that stayed out of reach

Sixty-two brands hold a barred-territory clause this pass failed to retrieve. Some had shifted their terms to another address, some served the page only behind a login, and some left the archive with a copy that would not render.

More than half the shelf therefore stands outside every figure quoted above, and the size of that group belongs inside the finding. Blank cells further down mark the same boundary. How we read explains the grouping.

One company's roll, and Tanzanian law

The survey above deals in contract wording. Each roll belongs to the firm that drafted it, moves when that firm's commercial arrangements move, and reaches readers with the reasoning left out.

Tanzanian legislation sits in instruments this reading has never opened, and the matter rests there. Keeping the two apart is the discipline of the site: a market printed in a clause carries an official look on screen while remaining one company's decision. The country index works the same way for the rest of the world.

What each operator publishes about itself: the company named on the licence, the permit number and where it was read, how many countries the operator excludes in its own terms, and when identity documents are demanded. The country count is the length of a list the operator published, not our estimate of where it will accept you. An empty cell means the document was not read — it is not a zero, and it is not a permission.

Questions people actually type

How many operators bar Tanzania in their own terms?
Seven of the thirty-eight lists readable on 26 August 2026, all seven taken from archived captures. Thirty-one readable lists carry no Tanzanian entry, and sixty-two clauses in the hundred-name library were never retrieved.
Why does Uganda finish five documents higher?
Because five narrow lists reach Uganda. Bets.io stops at fourteen markets, Metaspins at twenty-two, BitStarz at thirty-seven, CryptoLeo and Nine Casino at thirty-eight, and each of the five prints a Ugandan entry while passing over Tanzania. Nothing in any of the five documents explains the difference, and this page declines to supply a reason for it.
What does an empty cell mean in the table below?
It means the operator's barred-territory clause was never retrieved for this index. The cell records where the reading stopped rather than anything about the brand, and reading it as clearance would turn unfinished work into advice.
Is this page about Tanzanian gambling law?
It stays with contract terms. A barred-territory list is drafted by an operator to manage its own commercial exposure and amended by that operator alone. Tanzanian statute is written elsewhere, by other authors, and legal questions belong with those sources.
