Indonesia's eight, and the brand that names Thailand instead

Eight brands, and two that rarely appear elsewhere

Eight exclusion lists name Indonesia. Six belong to the roster that recurs across almost every country on this site; the other two, Rakebit and Wild.io, are what make this page’s eight its own rather than a copy of somebody else’s.

Two of the eight were read from pages the operators were serving live that day. The other six came from archived captures of the same addresses.

The two live readings are also the two short lists. Rakebit’s covers ten of the 122 markets on this site, four of them in South-East Asia, and Wild.io’s covers twenty-five. The six brands around them exclude between 95 and 105 countries apiece, which is a statement about how those platforms operate rather than about this archipelago.

One swap in each direction

Thailand arrives at eight as well, and the two pages are one brand apart in each direction. PlayAmo’s document names Thailand and omits Indonesia. Wild.io’s does the opposite. Everything else the two markets have in common is the shared roster.

That symmetry corrects the way these figures usually get read. A country with a high number is assumed to be difficult and one with a low number easy, when the gap between two neighbours can come down to which brand happened to revise its terms last. The Philippines shows the same effect from further along the same shelf: another eight, another partly different roster, and the entries separating it from this page are CryptoLeo and Nine Casino.

Counting brands is easy. Counting decisions would be more useful, and the documents make it impossible: a platform supplying a dozen brands publishes one list a dozen times, and the reader sees a dozen refusals where there may have been one meeting.

Thirty documents that stay silent

Thirty published lists were opened, read, and found silent about Indonesia.

That finding is deliberately thin, because the thicker version is where pages like this go wrong. Absence from a clause describes the clause. It says little about the payment provider behind the cashier, which applies territory rules of its own and publishes them nowhere useful, and it says nothing about the verification step that arrives when a withdrawal is requested rather than when an account is opened.

There is also a drafting reason to distrust silence. These lists are written to protect the operator if a dispute reaches arbitration, so breadth is cheap and precision is expensive. A market can go unnamed because nobody has got round to it, because the last revision predates the operator’s interest in the region, or because the schedule in one language edition of the terms differs from the schedule in another. Silence has many authors, and welcome is rarely one of them.

The twelve rows in the comparison table below split the same way the library does. A third of them publish a roll that has been read here, and Indonesia is missing from every one of those; the remaining eight show an empty count, since their document has yet to be opened.

The sixty-two that were never opened

Sixty-two operators in the same hundred have an exclusion list that stayed closed. Terms moved to a new address, asked for an account first, or left no usable archived copy.

The number is printed rather than hidden, because the size of the gap is part of the picture: for well over half the market this site holds an unfilled cell and says so. Treating those cells as zeros would manufacture a finding, and treating them as approvals would manufacture a worse one.

A commercial clause, and a separate legal question

Every entry above is contract text, written by the operator, for the operator. An exclusion list tracks licence conditions, processor requirements and the operator’s own judgement about which markets repay the trouble of serving them. It changes on the operator’s timetable, without notice to anyone.

Indonesian statute is written by other hands for other purposes, and this index reads none of it. The two blur easily, since a country named in a clause on a screen has an official look to it. What appears there is a company’s own judgement about where it wants customers, and the legal question stays outside this page entirely.
