Hungary draws nine refusals, the fewest in this batch

Nine rolls out of 38 name Hungary, the smallest count of the ten European countries here, set against 62 clauses that stay unread.

Nine is the smallest refusal count among the ten European countries in this group, and it arrives with a warning attached: the reading has yet to reach sixty-two of the hundred operators held in the library, roughly seven times the number that name Hungary. Twenty-nine rolls omit the country entirely. The nine that do name it were read on 26 August 2026, one as a live page and eight from archived copies.

The nine clauses that name Hungary

Each address below is hosted by the operator itself and printed as plain text.

Nine names, all of them familiar

Not one of the nine is peculiar to Hungary. Seven of them name every country in this batch, and the other two, PlayAmo and Winz.io, name nine of the ten, with Slovakia as their single exception. A page like this one therefore shows the floor of the batch: the operators who exclude Hungary are the operators who exclude most of central and eastern Europe, and the countries with higher counts pick up additional names on top of the same base.

That base is visible next door. Czechia and Romania both reach eleven, adding four names each to a shared seven, from documents read together on 26 August 2026.

One further detail separates this page from the others in the batch: a single entry, BitStarz, was read as a live document, and the remaining eight came from archived copies. A file resting that heavily on archives states the wording of one day with confidence and says nothing about the days after it, so the date is repeated in the column header rather than tucked into a footnote where a reader would miss it.

The table, and its blanks

What each operator publishes about itself: the company named on the licence, the permit number and where it was read, how many countries the operator excludes in its own terms, and when identity documents are demanded. The country count is the length of a list the operator published, not our estimate of where it will accept you. An empty cell means the document was not read — it is not a zero, and it is not a permission.

Four operators there publish a roll that has been read: one country, two, fifteen and forty-two. Hungary is outside all four. Eight cells stand empty, and empty means the clause awaits reading rather than that the door stands open.

A twelve-row table carrying eight blanks is largely a record of work outstanding, and it is printed that way deliberately. Nine is a floor, and the floor rests on thirty-eight readings out of a hundred.

Statute, and why it is left alone

The rolls counted above are commercial terms, drafted by companies for their own agreements and changed whenever those companies decide. They describe corporate policy on a given date. Hungarian law is a separate matter with separate sources, an act and a regulator, and answering it from a terms page would be a category error, so this file leaves the question standing. Counts for all countries are ranked on the home page; the standard for a source sits on the methodology page.

Questions people actually type

How many rolls put Hungary on the excluded list?
Nine, out of 38 opened on 26 August 2026 — the lowest figure of the ten European countries here. Twenty-nine rolls omit the country and 62 clauses remain unread.
Is a low count a sign that Hungary is widely accepted?
It is a sign that nine published rolls carry the country and 62 clauses are unread. The unread block is far larger than the refusal list, so the low figure describes our reading as much as the market.
Do any operators name Hungary and no other country here?
Every one of the nine also appears on other country pages here: seven of them name all ten countries, and PlayAmo and Winz.io name nine of the ten, leaving Slovakia out.
Does this page state whether online play is permitted in Hungary?
It states what companies wrote in their own terms on 26 August 2026. Hungarian law is set by an act and a regulator, sources of a different kind, and the question is left to them.
